Mark Close Farmhouse has 9 bedrooms and 5 bathrooms. There's a large well equipped kitchen with a dining table to fit 20. There are two living rooms with lots of comfy seating and a utility room with washing machine and tumble dryer. It is a 15 minute walk from beautiful Alston, with its great pubs, cafes and shops. The town is central in the North Pennines and lies on the borders of Northumberland, Durham and Cumbria, an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, referred to as 'England's last wilderness'. The house occupies a fantastic position, with easy access to the North lakes, county Durham, North Yorkshire, Northumberland and the Scottish borders.
The property is set in a large garden bordered by mature trees with panoramic views over green fields and wild fells. In the paddock next door to the Farmhouse, we have friendly Alpacas. The house is also dog friendly with an additional fee of £20 per dog.
