The house is the street's largest and was formerly the local general store. This means a spacious/roomy house for your stay.

There is a modern bathroom with an over-bath shower and excellent water pressure. The bathroom is stocked with all essential toiletries. Towels are provided. There is also a downstairs toilet and sink.

From the house, turn left, you can walk along Chester's historic canal. One of our favourites is a walk to the Cheshire Cat Pub…. If that’s too far, stop off in Chester town center, direct from the canal.

From the house, turn right, and you can walk or cycle along the River Dee & into Wales. Again, turning right or left, you can connect to Chester City walls and complete the loop.
