Queen Street -Emsworth Harbour Cottage, Garden

A pretty white-fronted cottage on Queen Street, a few steps from Emsworth's harbour and millponds. Three bedrooms, including a king room with its own en-suite, a walled courtyard garden for slow breakfasts, and dogs are welcome. Wander to independent cafés, pubs and harbour walks, then come home to wooden floors, a proper kitchen and a comfortable living room to settle into.

The space
We fell for this cottage the moment we opened the blue front door. Warm wooden floors run through a bright, white-panelled ground floor, the dining room has its own chandelier, and at the back there is a sheltered walled courtyard. It is the kind of house where a weekend slows right down.

Living and dining
The living room is made for unwinding: deep sofas, armchairs, a Smart TV you can sign in to with your own streaming accounts, and period character throughout. Across the hall, the dining room seats six around a solid wooden table, lovely for long dinners or a sociable breakfast.

Kitchen
A separate kitchen with a patterned tiled floor, Belfast sink, double oven, hob, built-in microwave, fridge freezer, dishwasher and a small breakfast bar with stools. The coffee machine is ready on arrival, along with tea, coffee and the basics to get you started.

Sleeping arrangements
Bedroom 1: king bed, with an en-suite walk-in shower, at the back of the house overlooking the courtyard.
Bedroom 2: double bed with a classic brass frame.
Bedroom 3: two single beds at the front of the house, which can be zipped together into a super king. Just let us know which you would like.
Beds are made up ready for you with hotel-quality linen and towels. A travel cot is available.

Bathrooms
A marble-tiled family bathroom with a bath and shower over, the en-suite walk-in shower in Bedroom 1, and a separate WC downstairs.

Longer stays
With three separate bedrooms, a dining table that doubles as a workspace and a full kitchen, the cottage works well for relocations, project work and longer visits. Longer stays are discounted.

Guest access
You have the whole cottage and the walled courtyard garden to yourselves. Check-in is self check-in with a lockbox, so you can arrive at your own pace within check-in hours. There is no private parking: parking is on the surrounding streets, subject to local restrictions, with some limited free spaces nearby and a public car park with EV charging close by.
