This unique and stylish place to stay is perfect for corporate stays, contractors working locally and those simply visiting the area.

The property is in the suburban village of Brompton between Chatham and Gillingham. The neighbouring city of Rochester is a treasure trove of historical significance, featuring attractions like the Norman Castle and the venerable Rochester Cathedral, founded in the year 604. The town also hosts annual festivals in honour of its most illustrious resident, Charles Dickens, who spent his childhood in the nearby Dockyard.

Historical significance
When you stay with us, you take and leave a bit of history with you. Immerse yourself in this building of historical significance. Although not a listed, the building has a lot of historical significance. The building is named after John Wesley the father of the methodist church. The chapel was built as a Methodist chapel in 1788 and enlarged in 1810. In 1892 it was sold to the Catholic Church, and possibly altered then. It is built in rendered brick, with a hipped tiled roof with a gable to the east. The plan is rectangular. The west facade has three windows, a cross modelled in bricks and a stone and concrete porch with two columns.
Preserved in the Basement is a well, dating back to the 1700’s, a piece of history that encapsulates what life would have been like between the 17- 1800’s.
The building has been recently refurbished to the highest standard and now offers spacious contemporary living spaces designed to the highest specification.

The space
The spec and finish are very impressive with anthracite windows, under floor heating throughout and lovely black ash effect joinery. The building boasts a lift, video entry system and even a cycle store on the lower ground floor. There is one double room and 2 single beds. The living room is cozy with vibrant lighting. Each individual room is controlled by zonal heating provided through under floor heating. There are 2 bathrooms, one being an ensuite shower and toilet room and the other being a family bathroom. There is a 50” smart Television providing access to NETFLIX, PRIME, DISNEY+ and more (own account required).
