Summary

A cosy, first floor one bedroom flat in the centre of historic Gloucester - 1 minute from the Cathedral, 10 minutes walk from the bus and train stations, 15 minutes walk from the Gloucester Royal Hospital. One double bed in the bedroom, and a double sofa bed in the living area. Ideal for 1 or 2 people.
This flat combines modern convenience and comfort with an old listed building dating from 1540. The oldest part is where the bedroom is which can be seen in the ancient original beams. The apartment and the entire building are freshly renovated so everything is still as new.
The space consists of:
Hallway with chest of drawers and hanging space for clothes. In the hallway also are some very old (1580) wall paintings that are of historical value, that were discovered during the renovation (much to the delight of English Heritage). They remain on display, protected by a perspex covering.
Bedroom with double bed, 100% Egyptian cotton sheets, duvet, throw, and pillows.
Ensuite shower room with toilet, sink and shower space. Towels, toiletries (shower gel, shampoo, conditioner), and toilet roll are provided.
Living area that combines a kitchen space, dining space and living room space.
Kitchen has electric 4 ring induction hob cooker, with electric oven/grill below, microwave, electric kettle, toaster, integrated fridge with freezer space, integrated washing machine/tumble drier, sink and draining board, and cupboard space. Crockery, cutlery, cooking implements, pots and pans, glasses and mugs are all provided, as are cafetieres and a teapot, ground coffee and various teas.
Dining area (or work area) is an extendable oak table with 4 high back oak chairs. .
Living space with 3 seater sofa bed, wooden armchair, coffee table, 40" smart tv, bookshelf with DAB radio, books, games and puzzles, and free wifi.
Because the sofa bed is in the living area it is advisable that the flat is rented by people that know each other.
