The Old Ropery at Mill Cottage is a beautiful historic home dating back to the 1700s, sympathetically renovated to create a warm, characterful and comfortable space for families, couples and business travellers alike.
The cottage retains many original features, including exposed beams and low doorways in places (please mind your head!), making for a truly memorable stay full of charm and history.

BEDROOMS
Freshly laundered, bed linen and towels are provided. The cottage offers three bedrooms:
One king-size bedroom
One double bedroom
One room with adult-quality bunk beds

BATHROOM
The upstairs bathroom features a roll-top bath and a separate shower cubicle.

LOUNGE
The generous living room features a three-seater sofa, a two-seater sofa and a matching armchair, all in soft brown leather and arranged around an oak coffee table. There is a 42” Smart TV with Freeview and catch-up channels, fibre Wi-Fi, full central heating and a log-burning stove for cosy evenings. A well-stocked bookcase completes the space.

DINING ROOM
The spacious dining room includes a large oak dining table with six chairs, a sideboard and a comfortable chair, ideal for relaxed meals or quiet afternoon reading.

KITCHEN
The kitchen is fully equipped with plenty of pots, pans and crockery, along with a coffee maker, kettle, microwave, range cooker and dishwasher.

GARDEN ROOM
The garden room is a relaxing space to enjoy in all weathers and is perfect for storing bicycles, golf bags, fishing tackle, coats and shoes.

UTILITY ROOM
The utility room includes a second fitted kitchen area with sink, fridge/freezer and washing machine. You’ll also find an ironing board, iron and vacuum cleaner if required. This space is ideal for storing boots and outdoor gear after countryside walks.

OUTSIDE
The private enclosed lawned garden includes an outdoor dining table with six chairs, a large barbecue and a rattan seating area. The secure garden and cottage are accessed via the key-code on the gate.

Free parking is available in the public car park directly opposite the cottage or via free on-street parking nearby.
