Everything you need for a short break or long stay is provided, including all cutlery and cooking utensils.You can help yourself to the tea and coffee facilities provided for a nice cuppa after arrival.On your right is the utility room with a WC.You can see rural greenery and a cute garden area with outside furniture and a patio from the large windows.Going through to the bedroom with a super comfy double bed (all linen and towels provided), you will see an ensuite bathroom complete with a bath and overhead shower.Nestled within the grounds of Intwood Farm, The Old Corn Store is surrounded by lush fields where first-class meat is produced from meticulously nurtured cattle, sheep, and pigs. This 450-acre working farm, located just outside the village of Intwood and within 5 miles of Norwich City Centre, is a truly special place. It features environmentally sensitive areas with wild orchids and ancient woodlands (not open to guests), a Site of Special Scientific Interest (SSSI), and participation in Defra's higher-level stewardship scheme.Venturing a bit further, you're only a little under 5 miles away from Norwich City Centre, highly sought after for its exceptional array of bars, restaurants, pubs, cafes, and diverse shopping options. They are passionate about their animals and are members of the Rare Breeds Survival Trust. There is a strong and growing demand for meat products sourced from Intwood Farms. They are proud to have been able to convert their service by converting a redundant dairy into a state-of-the-art butchery, which opened on March 2020.Aside from this, they also have a light-land farm which grows barley, potatoes, sugar beet, maize and rape, as well as stubble turnips providing winter grazing for the cattle. The increase in the number of animals on the farm has enhanced the level of fertility and improved soil structure. As a result, arable cropping has been significantly enhanced. In addition to this, the farm has environmentally sensitive areas of wild orchids and ancient woodland. It also boasts a Site of Special Scientific Interest (SSSI) and is in Defra’s Higher-Level Stewardship scheme.On the store front, they have expert butchers who provide quality products from our home-reared cattle and locally sourced pork, lamb and chicken.
