This lovingly restored house is located in Lower Priory Street, near to Micklegate Bar, and faces south across to the Medieval bar walls.Whilst the house is very close to all the action in the city Centre, the location here is very quiet, with no through traffic. There is free permit parking for one car. For those arriving by train, the station is about 7 or 8 minutes' walk. If you’re coming for the races, it’s a 20 minute stroll.Feria Place makes for a perfect break in this ancient city. Following complete renovation in 2019, the house successfully blends its traditional character with modern and contemporary finishes.Entering the stunning townhouse, the ground floor features a spacious and stylish double reception room. With comfortable seating and a flat screen smart TV. There is a dining area for dining for 4 guests, with a door leading to the courtyard. It leads to a fully equipped contemporary kitchen complete with breakfast bar. All appliances and cutlery/crockery is provided offering you the choice to make a home cooked meal or visit one of York’s many takeout restaurants! Beyond the dining area, is a utility/cloakroom with wc. The house is fully equipped with all the appliances you need to make your stay a little more comfortable. Including a washing machine, dishwasher, full fridge freezer and electric oven and hob. There is a completely private courtyard garden at the back of the house. Decorated and fitted with artificial grass.Upstairs, the spacious main bedroom, complete with king size bed, has a wonderful outlook to the city walls. The bedrooms offer a comfortable mattress and hotel quality bed linens and towels provided throughout.The smaller second bedroom is also attractively finished, and has a double bed. The family bathroom is beautifully appointed with a luxury tiling and a large walk-in shower and a heated floor.This property really does have every aspect of modern and contempary finishing whilst keeping the traditional character of the building.Feria Place really makes for the perfect place to stay offering all the home from home comforts you could need.Free parking is provided with a permit on the street, free high speed WIFI is also provided throughout your stay.Sadly this property is not suitable for children under the age of 6 years old. Over 6 years old, they are very welcome. Alternatively if you have a young baby in a travel cot, that would also be fine.
