Beautiful, historic Devon cottage - spacious, well equipped home, comfortably accommodating up to 4 guests, with 4 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms (bath/shower/toilet in upstairs bathroom, plus shower and toilet downstairs) and parking for 2 cars. Set in the heart of the village of Goodleigh, close to Barnstaple in North Devon and with an excellent village pub a very short walk away offering homecooked meals (Thursday to Monday evenings). This special cottage has been tastefully decorated throughout with a large, cosy living room with woodburning stove and smart TV, well equipped kitchen and dining room located on the ground floor and four good sized bedrooms situated upstairs, three doubles and one single. There is also excellent superfast fibre broadband. The highlight of this wonderful self-catering cottage is its stunning garden, which can be found to the rear of the property and has beautiful countryside views. There are 2 outside seating areas in the garden on the upper terrace and a picnic table and BBQ lower down in the garden.
Please note - the cottage is almost 400 years old and full of charm and history. All ceilings are full height, though there are a couple of lower doorways connecting the dining room and a beam in the kitchen. There is a step into each room throughout the cottage, so it may not be suitable for people with mobility challenges.
