Cool Seaside Hut, Sandy & Quiet Norfolk Beach

Escape to our cool seaside hut, nestled in a friendly grassy chalet park just steps from Bacton Beach – one of Norfolk’s best-kept secrets. This dog-friendly retreat blends classic coastal charm with sunny park views and easy access to both sandy shores and countryside trails.

Inside, the bright space features an open-plan kitchen and living area, fully equipped for your stay. Enjoy fast WiFi, a Smart TV, DVD collection and board games for cosy evenings. The comfortable bedroom offers a double bed and TV, while the living area includes a double sofa bed and two single sofa beds for flexibility. A compact shower room (with shower and sink) adds convenience, and though the hut has no private toilet, the park’s well-maintained facilities are just a few steps away.

Outside, relax in your grassy sun trap area with garden furniture, deck chairs and windbreaks, (wetsuits and shoes provided for beach days). The chalet park boasts a popular well-stocked grocery store laundry facilities and SJ's Food Truck. A short walk takes you to local eateries like a top-quality fish & chip shop and superb café, while a 15-minute beach stroll leads to a charming pub with panoramic sea views.

Bacton is a small seaside village where uncrowded sandy beaches meet winding country lanes. Explore coastal paths, wander past historic St. Andrew’s Church or discover the wooded trails of Bacton Woods. On foot, follow the coast to neighbouring villages like Mundesley and Walcott - both dotted with inviting pubs and cafés - or lose yourself in Norfolk’s network of footpaths through fields and along quiet lanes. By car, North Norfolk’s coastline unfolds with scenic drives. Stop at Happisburgh’s iconic lighthouse, explore seaside towns like Cromer and Sheringham, or continue to Blakeney Point for seal-watching. Further west, don’t miss Wells-next-the-Sea’s colourful beach huts or Holkham’s vast, pine-backed sands.

Please note there is no toilets inside the chalets on this park, the toilet facilities are in managed toilet blocks set around the park for residents use, with the closet being an only a few steps away from the hut.
