FAQ
Comfy Workers helps companies find furnished, self-catering houses and apartments in Scottish Borders, including serviced accommodation and corporate housing for longer assignments. We are a business-only marketplace providing managed sourcing and support. We share your accommodation brief with suitable providers and help you compare their offers in a ranked shortlist. Your company chooses the property, and our account team supports the booking and stay. Hotels and guest houses are not our standard UK offer.
Yes. Registered companies can book accommodation for one worker, supervisor or project manager in Scottish Borders. A furnished apartment or smaller house may suit someone who needs cooking facilities, laundry and space to unwind. There is no service-wide minimum stay. A working week or longer is the usual fit, although recurring shorter stays also work well. Share your dates, working pattern, budget and any privacy or parking requirements.
Yes. We can source houses or apartments against this brief, depending on availability. Specify your site address, exact dates, working-week pattern, budget, and the number and size of vans. Confirm whether workers can share bedrooms: four separate beds does not necessarily mean four private bedrooms. Before choosing a property, check that its bedroom layout, bed configuration, parking arrangements and availability match the full three-month requirement.
Yes. We only support whole and private houses in Scottish Borders. Simply request three private bedrooms. We source offers using your bedroom requirements, location, dates and budget. Before choosing, review the layout and amenities, bathrooms and shared living facilities. A property advertised as sleeping three or more people may not have three private bedrooms.
Yes. We can help source accommodation for 20–50 workers near a job site in Scottish Borders, using several houses or apartments where needed. Our team assesses suitable combinations and helps coordinate bookings and room allocations. Share headcount by date, room-sharing preferences, site address, shift patterns, parking needs and maximum commute. Start early so accommodation can be aligned across the required dates. Lead times vary, and the available options may involve trade-offs between proximity, private bedrooms and budget.
We can coordinate accommodation across multiple properties for larger workforces in Scottish Borders. Share peak headcount, phased arrival and departure dates, bedroom preferences, site locations and budget. Our account team assesses available supply and the booking arrangements needed to manage the properties together. Our PSI Global case study describes support for more than 50 contractors across several sites. For a project with 100+ workers in one city, a specific capacity assessment is needed before we can confirm a workable plan.
Yes. We can include nearby properties in your accommodation brief for Scottish Borders. Specify the maximum distance between properties and journey time to site; a shared postcode alone may not meet your needs. Tell us how workers will travel, including whether they share vans. Keeping properties closer together may limit availability or affect price, bedroom layouts and arrival dates.
Yes. We source around your actual job-site location, including surrounding towns and rural areas where they offer practical routes to work. Share the full address or access point, shift times, travel arrangements and maximum acceptable commute. The platform matches and ranks options using straight-line distance. When comparing properties, check the actual route and likely journey time for your shifts, allowing for site entrances, crossings and local traffic.
Yes. Include van parking in your accommodation request for Scottish Borders. Tell us the number, height and length of your vehicles, and whether you need off-road or allocated spaces. Parking may be private, on-street or public, and suitability varies by vehicle. Before booking, ask us to clarify access, height restrictions, permits, charges and limits on commercial vehicles. A parking listing alone does not confirm that your vans will fit.
Yes. These facilities are included as standard, where UK offer focuses on self-catering houses and apartments, with providers stating the housekeeping frequency and all-inclusive accommodation price. Check amenities and essential equipment, connectivity needs and your preferred cleaning and linen schedule when booking.
Yes. We support short stays, several months and recurring Monday-to-Friday bookings in Scottish Borders. There is no service-wide minimum stay, although a working week or longer is the usual fit. Provide your full arrival and departure pattern, including bank holidays and weekends when workers need to stay. Specify whether you need the same property each week or want to leave belongings over weekends. We assess offers against the working weeks and the gaps between them.
Submit a request through our website or app, or use the Contact us page to find ways to speak to the team. Include your site location, dates, guest numbers, weekly stay pattern, budget, bedroom-sharing preferences and essential facilities. For new customers, we will give you a quick call first to check some details. You’ll then receive a ready to book, ranked shortlist of personalised accommodation options matching your criteria..
We can help with urgent requests for crews starting in Scottish Borders next week, although availability and turnaround times cannot be guaranteed. Send a complete brief as soon as possible, with a clear start date, budget, bed configuration and acceptable search area. Our team checks the request, approaches providers and shortlists available offers. Having someone ready to approve an option helps avoid delays.
Contact your Comfy Workers account team as soon as your dates or headcount change. Extensions require a fresh availability and price check, as the same property is not automatically reserved. Early departures are treated as cancellations from the revised departure date; your booking’s cancellation notice determines the accommodation charges still payable. Adding or removing workers may require an extra property, a linked booking or a replacement arrangement. Early notice gives us more opportunity to coordinate changes to your accommodation in Scottish Borders with the provider.
Yes. Comfy Workers can coordinate guest changes and phased arrivals as your project progresses. Give your account team the rotation schedule, handover dates and any changes to occupant numbers or bedroom arrangements. We coordinate updates with the provider and discuss housekeeping for changeovers. Sharing the full schedule early helps align your Scottish Borders accommodation and bookings with each project phase.
The Comfy Workers account team is available for accommodation problems. We coordinate with the provider, who is responsible for fixing underlying property faults. You can report check-in and property issues through the website, app, phone or email. Our Contact us page provides current support arrangements and contact details.
Contractor accommodation prices in Scottish Borders depend on dates, stay length, team size, bedroom configuration, location and property standard. Parking requirements, local demand and your working-week pattern also affect the options available. We can show the cost per person per night, the nightly property cost and the total for your requested stay.
Your offer shows an all-inclusive accommodation price covering utilities, the stated housekeeping, service charges, relevant taxes and VAT where applicable. Your cleaning frequency and parking arrangements will also be visible. A company security deposit of £500 required on your first booking. Payment is normally due seven days before the stay period starts, with longer bookings generally billed monthly. Eligible credit options are available. Your payment request confirms the amount and due date.
Managed contractor accommodation combines sourcing, booking administration, changes, account support and payment administration in one process. Houses and apartments can provide kitchens, laundry and shared living space. Hotels can suit individual workers or very short stays where convenience matters most. With direct property bookings, your team manages each provider relationship and coordinates other stays itself. Compare total accommodation costs, facilities, staff administration and cancellation arrangements. No single approach is always cheapest or most flexible. Our contractor accommodation and hotel comparison guides provide further detail.
Comfy Workers issues payment requests and monthly statements rather than invoices. For standard bookings, one consolidated payment request covers the booking’s properties for each billing period. Long stays have monthly billing. A trade account provides one monthly statement covering all bookings and nights stayed that month, across sites and projects. Purchase-order references can be set as optional or mandatory at account level.
Yes. We bill your company, with payment by bank transfer or card. Eligible registered companies can apply for free credit following a credit assessment. Net 30 means payment is due 30 days after the normal payment due date, not after check-in. A trade account has payment due 14 days after month end for the nights stayed that month. Our team can explain both options and help with applications for UK bookings. Approval and credit limits are assessed during the application process.
Yes. Your office staff and site managers can work with a Comfy Workers account manager or account team, avoiding the need to coordinate each provider separately. The platform provides a central view of requirements, bookings and stays, with team-management features for bookers and guests. Agree who submits requests, approves accommodation and budgets, supplies guest details and handles payments. Clear responsibilities help prevent conflicting instructions when projects change.
Yes. Comfy Workers can coordinate accommodation in Scottish Borders alongside other UK projects, whether teams travel simultaneously or move between locations. Our provider marketplace and additional sourcing cover cities, smaller towns and rural project areas, subject to availability for your dates. Share each site’s location, dates, headcount and budget separately. Your company can view bookings centrally and work with the account team across locations. Our accommodation location pages provide an overview of other areas.
We support company bookings for construction, engineering, infrastructure, industrial and other project teams in Scottish Borders. These include specialist subcontractors, mechanical and electrical installers, fit-out teams, renewable-energy crews, and staffing or labour providers. We source around site access, shift patterns, bedrooms, parking and stay length. Examples from our wider UK experience include PSI Global for multi-site labour teams, AE Global for engineering projects and DDS Demolition for specialist construction crews. These examples describe our UK experience rather than delivery for every industry in each city.
Comfy Workers helps registered companies find furnished studios, apartments and houses in Scottish Borders for business stays, from individual professionals to teams needing several properties. We are a business-only marketplace providing managed sourcing and support. We share your requirements with suitable providers and help you compare their offers in a ranked shortlist. Your company chooses the property, and our account team supports the booking and stay. Hotels and guest houses are not our standard UK offer.
Serviced accommodation combines furnished living space with agreed services such as housekeeping. Houses and apartments can provide kitchens, laundry and more space for longer business stays. Hotels may suit shorter visits or guests who prioritise on-site services, while a standard rental may require separate arrangements for furniture, bills and cleaning. Compare the total cost, facilities, included services and booking terms for your intended stay, as these vary between properties.
Each offer shows an all-inclusive price covering utilities, the stated housekeeping, VAT where applicable and other relevant taxes. Properties are furnished, and providers agree to minimum standards covering essential facilities, cleaning and linen arrangements and utilities. Your housekeeping frequency and parking arrangements will also be visible. Check the kitchen equipment, laundry and Wi-Fi for each property when booking. A minimum £500 company security deposit applies to your first booking.
Each provider’s offer states the housekeeping frequency for your stay, and providers agree to minimum standards that include cleaning, linen and towel arrangements. Share your preferred cleaning schedule in your request, including any times that suit guests working shifts, and ask about extra visits if you need them. The housekeeping frequency is visible on each offer before you book.
Yes. We arrange self-contained apartments and houses in Scottish Borders, so guests have their own kitchen and living space. Simply request the layout you need, such as a living room separate from the bedrooms, or a studio where sleeping, cooking and living share one space. Before choosing, review the layout and kitchen equipment, particularly if colleagues will share the property or guests plan to cook throughout a longer stay.
Yes. You can include laundry in your request for Scottish Borders and say whether you need a washing machine, a separate dryer or another drying arrangement. Facilities vary by property, so check the amenities listed for each property when booking.
Yes. You can request Wi-Fi and a suitable workspace for a business stay in Scottish Borders. Tell us whether you need a desk, a separate room or privacy for calls, and mention any connectivity needs. Check the amenities and workspace for each property when booking.
Yes. Registered companies can book a studio or one-bedroom apartment for an individual business traveller in Scottish Borders. A studio combines sleeping and living space, while a one-bedroom apartment has a separate bedroom. There is no service-wide minimum stay. A working week or longer is the usual fit, although recurring shorter stays also work well. Share your dates, budget, preferred location and any workspace, privacy or parking requirements.
Yes. We only support whole, private houses and apartments in Scottish Borders, so simply request a private bedroom for each colleague under one company booking and tell us whether bathrooms can be shared. We source offers using your bedroom requirements, location, dates and budget. Before choosing, review the layout and amenities, bathrooms and shared living facilities. A property’s advertised guest capacity may not match its number of private bedrooms.
Yes. You can request several apartments in the same building or nearby properties in Scottish Borders. Share the number of guests, bedrooms required, arrival dates and maximum acceptable distance between properties. Our team can assess suitable combinations and help coordinate the bookings. Keeping everyone in one building or a tight cluster may limit the options available or affect price, layouts and dates.
Yes. We support business stays in Scottish Borders of a week, a month or several months. There is no service-wide minimum stay, although a working week or longer is the usual fit. Provide your exact arrival and departure dates so offers reflect the full requirement. Each offer shows its cancellation policy before you book, which helps if your assignment dates are uncertain.
Yes. Include recurring weekday stays in your request for Scottish Borders, and say whether guests stay Monday to Friday or need some weekends. Provide the full working pattern, including bank holidays. Tell us if returning to the same property each week matters, or if belongings need to stay between visits, so providers can reflect this in their offers.
Yes. We source around your actual workplace address, including suitable surrounding areas where they offer a practical commute. Share the office, hospital or business-park location, your working hours, travel arrangements and maximum acceptable journey time. The platform uses straight-line distance when matching and ranking options. Check the actual route and likely journey at your working times before choosing, including access points, traffic and public-transport connections where relevant.
Yes. Include parking in your accommodation request and specify the number and type of vehicles, their dimensions and whether you need allocated or off-road spaces. Parking may be private, on-street or public, with different access restrictions and costs. Before booking, confirm permits, charges, height restrictions and any limits on commercial vehicles. A property advertised with parking may not suit every vehicle or provide a reserved space.
Include your practical accessibility requirements in the accommodation brief so suitable options can be assessed. These might include step-free access, a lift, ground-floor accommodation, doorway dimensions or particular bathroom facilities. Ask for confirmation of the relevant features for the specific property before booking. A general description such as “accessible” may not provide enough detail to establish whether the accommodation meets an individual guest’s needs.
Include any accompanying family members or pets in your company’s accommodation request. Provide guest numbers, bedroom requirements and relevant pet details so the property’s occupancy arrangements, layout and provider policies can be checked. Ask for confirmation of acceptance, restrictions and any additional charges before booking. The accommodation must remain a company business booking; suitability for accompanying guests or pets needs to be established for the selected property.
Serviced accommodation prices in Scottish Borders depend on dates, stay length, property size, location, facilities and local demand. Each offer shows an all-inclusive price covering utilities, housekeeping and VAT where applicable. We can show the nightly property cost and the total for your requested stay, so you can assess weekly or monthly budgets. A minimum £500 company security deposit applies to your first booking.

For new customers, we will give you a quick call first to check some details. You’ll then receive a ready-to-book, ranked shortlist of personalised accommodation options matching your criteria.
Yes. Registered companies can book and pay for accommodation on an employee’s behalf. Your booker chooses the property, provides guest details and confirms the company’s billing information. You pay against a payment request by bank transfer or card: we send it 18 days before the stay period starts, and payment is due seven days before. Eligible companies can apply for free credit, and purchase-order references can be set as optional or mandatory at account level.
Contact your Comfy Workers account team as soon as your plans change. Extensions are arranged with the provider; the existing rate is not guaranteed, but price increases are rare. Shortening a stay is treated as a cancellation from the revised departure date, and the cancellation notice on your booking determines any charges still payable. Early notice gives us more opportunity to coordinate your request with the provider.
Check-in arrangements depend on the property, including whether keys are collected in person or self-check-in is available. If a guest expects to arrive late, include the expected arrival time in your request so it can be checked with the provider. If there is a problem at check-in, report it through the website or app within 24 hours so it can be identified as pre-existing.
The Comfy Workers account team is available for accommodation problems. We coordinate with the provider, who is responsible for fixing underlying property faults. You can report check-in and property issues through the website, app, phone or email; raise check-in issues within 24 hours so they can be identified as pre-existing. If the accommodation becomes uninhabitable or an issue stays unresolved, we may relocate your guests. For ways to get in touch, please visit our Contact us page.

Corporate housing can suit consultants, new starters, visiting specialists, project managers and teams working away from their usual base. We source around the company’s actual needs, including assignment dates, workplace location, budget, privacy, facilities and the number of people staying.
Yes. Registered companies can book corporate housing for one employee, executive or project manager in Scottish Borders. A furnished apartment or smaller house may suit someone who needs privacy, cooking facilities, laundry and space to work or relax. There is no service-wide minimum stay. A working week or longer is the usual fit, although recurring shorter stays also work well. Share your dates, location, budget and any workspace or parking requirements.
Yes. We can source corporate housing for extended assignments in Scottish Borders, including three, six or twelve months. Provide the planned dates and explain any uncertainty about the assignment’s end. Long stays have monthly billing, and each offer shows its cancellation policy before you book. If the move date or departure date may change, consider the booking’s cancellation and extension arrangements when comparing options.
Yes. We can help source accommodation for 20–50 employees in Scottish Borders, using several houses or apartments where needed. Share headcount by date, workplace or training venue, privacy requirements, travel arrangements and budget. Our team can assess suitable combinations and help coordinate the bookings. Start early so properties can be aligned across the required dates, allowing for trade-offs between proximity, private accommodation and cost.
We can assess and coordinate multi-property requirements for larger employee groups in Scottish Borders. Share peak headcount, phased arrivals and departures, workplace locations, bedroom preferences and budget. Our account team can assess available supply and the booking arrangements needed to manage the properties together. Projects involving 100+ employees in one city require a specific capacity assessment before a workable accommodation plan can be confirmed.
Yes. We only support whole, private houses and apartments, so each employee can have a separate apartment or a private bedroom within a shared house or apartment. Simply tell us which you need and whether bathrooms can be shared. These options provide different levels of privacy and may affect cost and availability. Before choosing, review the layout and amenities, bathrooms and shared living facilities.
Yes. We source around the actual workplace address and your employees’ travel needs. Share the office, campus or business-park location, working hours and maximum acceptable commute. Suitable options may include surrounding areas where transport connections or driving routes work well. Check actual journey times when comparing properties, as the platform uses straight-line distance when matching and ranking accommodation.
Share your company’s property requirements before accommodation is sourced, including any quality, security, accessibility or documentation needs. Accommodation providers using Comfy Workers agree to minimum property, service and legal-compliance standards. These cover essential facilities, cleaning and linen arrangements, utilities, safety certificates, licensing, fire safety, hygiene and insurance. Supporting evidence can be requested where required. Your company decides whether the proposed accommodation meets your organisation’s requirements.
Yes. You can specify kitchens, laundry, Wi-Fi, workspace and cleaning in your request. Our UK offer focuses on self-catering houses and apartments, with providers stating the housekeeping frequency and an all-inclusive price covering utilities, housekeeping and VAT where applicable. Check the amenities, workspace and connectivity and your preferred cleaning and linen schedule when booking.
Include any accompanying partner, children or pets in your company’s accommodation request so the household requirements can be assessed. Share guest numbers, bedroom needs and relevant pet details. Ask for confirmation of the provider’s occupancy and pet policies, any additional charges and the suitability of the layout before booking. The stay must remain a company business booking, with accompanying occupants and pets considered as part of the specific arrangement.
Yes. Include your accommodation budget and relevant travel-policy requirements in the brief so offers can be assessed against them. Specify whether the budget applies per employee, per property or to the whole assignment, and identify any essential standards or location limits. Your authorised company booker chooses the accommodation and should obtain approval for any exceptions. Clear criteria help the shortlist reflect both employee needs and company requirements.
Corporate housing costs in Scottish Borders depend on assignment dates, stay length, property size, location, privacy requirements and local demand. Each offer shows an all-inclusive price covering utilities, the stated housekeeping, VAT where applicable and other relevant taxes. Include a minimum £500 company security deposit for your first booking. Payment requests are sent 18 days before each stay period, with payment due seven days before it starts, and long stays have monthly billing.

Yes. We bill your company, with payment by bank transfer or card. Eligible registered companies can apply for free credit following a credit assessment. Your company chooses the accommodation, supported by the available offers. Contact your Comfy Workers account team as soon as the assignment changes. Extensions are arranged with the provider; the existing rate is not guaranteed, but price increases are rare. Moving to another location means sourcing suitable accommodation for the new dates and workplace. Ending the original stay early is treated as a cancellation from the revised departure date, with any charges set by the booking’s cancellation notice.
The Comfy Workers account team is available for accommodation problems. We coordinate with the provider, who is responsible for fixing underlying property faults. Employees can report check-in and property issues through the website, app, phone or email; check-in issues should be raised within 24 hours so they can be identified as pre-existing. Our team can assess suitable properties and help coordinate staggered bookings and changes. Your company can view requirements, bookings and stays centrally. Send your supplier-onboarding requirements to our team before your first booking, including any requested company information, documents, billing references and purchasing procedures. Confirm which requirements can be met and which documents can be provided before relying on them for approval. Your company should establish its authorised booking contacts and purchasing process before confirming accommodation, allowing time for any required supplier review.
Yes. Comfy Workers can coordinate corporate housing in Scottish Borders alongside assignments in other UK locations. Our provider marketplace and additional sourcing cover cities, smaller towns and rural areas. Provide dates, guest numbers, workplace locations and budgets for each requirement. Your company can view bookings centrally and work with the account team across locations, whether employees travel simultaneously or move between assignments.
Yes. You can request the same property for repeat assignments in Scottish Borders. Share the full schedule as early as possible, including gaps between visits and any weekends when the employee needs to stay, so the provider can confirm availability for each period. If belongings need to remain at the property between assignments, include that in your request.
Corporate housing describes accommodation arranged for business stays, while serviced accommodation describes furnished properties with agreed services such as housekeeping; the same property can meet both descriptions. Hotels may suit very short visits or guests prioritising on-site services. Renting directly means your company manages the provider relationship and any separate arrangements itself. Compare total cost, stay length, facilities, administration and cancellation terms. Comfy Workers combines accommodation sourcing with booking coordination and account support.
