Pound Cottage is a pretty, cosy three-bedroom cottage in the peaceful village of Uplyme, sleeping five. Curl up by the log burner, enjoy your morning coffee on the swing seat in the garden, then follow the little path from the bottom of the garden all the way to Lyme Regis for its harbour, beaches and the famous Jurassic Coast. It's a perfect, homely base for couples wanting a quiet escape and families wanting space to unwind.
The space
Pound Cottage has everything that makes a cottage break special. It has character, comfort and a real sense of being away from it all, yet you can walk to the seaside from the bottom of the garden.
Living area: The sitting room is the heart of the cottage, with a log burner for wonderfully cosy evenings. Sink into the comfy seating after a day on the beach, light the fire, and settle in for a film night with the TV and fast Wi-Fi.
Kitchen and dining: The kitchen is fully equipped, with an oven, hob, dishwasher, fridge, freezer, kettle, toaster and coffee machine. It has everything you need, from a lazy breakfast to a proper family dinner. The dining table seats six, so everyone can gather round for meals, board games or a long, relaxed supper.
Bedrooms: There are three bedrooms, so everyone has their own space to rest.

Bathroom: The bathroom has a bath with shower over, perfect for a long soak after a day of coastal walks.
Garden: The garden is truly lovely, and so peaceful. There's a little seating area for breakfast in the sunshine or a glass of wine as the evening draws in, and a swing chair that's guaranteed to become everyone's favourite spot. You'll hear birdsong rather than traffic. At the bottom of the garden, a small walkway leads onto a footpath that takes you all the way through to Lyme Regis. Stroll down to the sea for fish and chips, then wander home again.
