Dawn Cottage is over 200 years old, we have ensured to keep original features to give you that old charm, whilst modern facilities have been fitted for your comfort.



Set in the quiet village of Middleton by Wirksworth, Dawn Cottage is tucked away off the main road to give you beautiful views of the surrounding Derbyshire countryside.... Don't worry though, the pub is only 2 minutes from the door!

We are happy to allow well behaved dogs in the cottage for an additional fee! As we are surrounded by an abundance of walks from the front door, to all across the peaks .Middleton is a charming village, with traditional pubs, the stone centre, star disk, the millenium Wall and great access to the high Peak Trail, Black Rocks and Carsington Reservior. Nearby walks also include Robin Hoods Stride and 9 Ladies Stone Circle.

Attractions within a easy drive are Chatsworth, Matlock Bath, Cromford Mills and Matlock Bath! Also In the close distance to the gorgeous market town of Bakewell and Matlock
