Recently rebranded from its YHA roots, the Hideout combines the charm of a traditional lodge with modern facilities designed for groups, adventurers, and those looking to unwind in nature.

Our property features a mix of cosy private rooms and spacious dorm-style accommodation, sleeping up to 48 guests. Guests can relax in the brand-new Hangout Room, a welcoming common space with comfortable seating, games, and a social atmosphere perfect for winding down after a day of exploring.

The fully equipped self-catering kitchen makes it easy to prepare meals, while outdoor picnic areas provide a scenic setting for dining together. With direct access to woodland trails, cycling routes, and the stunning Surrey Hills countryside, the Hideout is ideal for walkers, cyclists, families, schools, and group getaways.

Accessibility is central to our ethos—the property now includes a newly installed lift and step-free access to ensure everyone can enjoy their stay.
